Synology® Releases phpMyAdmin Package Update for its DiskStation Series

Taipei, Taiwan—February 1, 2010—Synology^® Inc. today updated the phpMyAdmin package for its DiskStation series.

The phpMyAdmin is free web-based software designed for managing MySQL databases. “With the release of phpMyAdmin package update, users will be able to run the most recent version of phpMyAdmin 3.2.5 by installing the package on the Synology DiskStation Manager interface,” said Edward Lin, marketing director of Synology Inc. This update is mainly for keeping up with the development of phpMyAdmin.

The phpMyAdmin package 3.2.5-001 applies to the following DiskStation models: DS1010+, DS509+, DS508, DS410j, DS409+, DS409, DS409slim, DS408, DS210j, DS209+II, DS209+, DS209, DS209j, DS207+, DS207, DS110j, DS109+, DS109, DS109j, DS108j, DS107+, DS107, DS107e, CS407, CS407e, RS409+, RS409RP+, RS409, RS408, RS408-RP, and RS407.
