Kingston releases a cheap upgrade solution for desktop computers
Kingston has announced it’s new Solid state drive with a storage of 40GB. This new SSD is a addition of their V-serie’s. According to Ariel Perez (SSD business manager, Kingston), this new SSD offers instant performance enhancement coupled with low power consumption and reliability. He also said that this will be the last added SSD in the V serie of Kingston.
Testing with PCMark Vantage advanced HDD suite it came out with nice score’s if you compare it with other solid state drive’s. This SSD received a score of 13,883, while a normal 7200RPM HDD attain a average score of 3,708. This kind of test is based on several actions which will be taken by the HDD or SSD, such as application loading, startups, in and exporting files etc etc.
